Connect Claude
Connect the Claude app to Vocci. Vocci is now listed in Claude's connector directory — you no longer need to paste a custom MCP URL. You add Vocci once, and because it is tied to your Claude account it then works everywhere you use the Claude app — the web (claude.ai), the iPhone and Android apps, and the Mac/Windows desktop app.
- Claude app — web, phone, or desktop. You are in the right place; follow the steps below.
- Claude Code — the terminal CLI. If you sign in to Claude Code with the same Claude account, this connector may already be available there (check
/mcp); it also supports its own per-machineclaude mcp addsetup. See Connect Claude Code.
Setup
-
Open Customize and go to Connectors.
-
Click the Add dropdown, then click Browse connectors.
-
In the directory search box, type Vocci, then open the Vocci connector.
-
On the Vocci connector page, click Connect.
-
When Claude opens the authorization flow, sign in to Vocci, then click Allow to grant access.
-
Return to Claude and confirm that Vocci appears as connected.
Vocci requests your basic profile and email address to sign you in, plus offline access so the connection keeps working without you needing to re-authenticate every session. Vocci MCP provides read-only access — Claude can search and open approved context, but it cannot change Vocci data through this connection.
Verify Installation
Your setup should now be complete when:
- Vocci appears as connected in Claude.
- Claude shows Vocci tools as available.
- A non-sensitive Vocci request returns recent sessions with titles, summaries, and source IDs.
Try:
List my recent Vocci sessions and summarize them
If a session looks relevant, Claude can open it in more detail and include the returned source ID.
Recommended: Use Vocci Automatically
By default, Claude only uses Vocci when you mention it. To make it proactive — so you do not have to say "Vocci" in every message — add a standing instruction in Settings → General, or in a project's custom instructions:
When meeting notes, past conversations, decisions, follow-ups, or other Vocci-recorded context would help you answer better, use the Vocci connector to search my Vocci context before answering.
Now a question like "What did we decide about the launch date?" makes Claude check your Vocci context on its own. Vocci access stays read-only.
Notes
Claude UI names can change. If a label looks different, the important pieces are Customize, Connectors, Browse connectors, searching for Vocci, and the Connect and Vocci sign-in flow.
If you cannot find Vocci in the directory, you can still add it manually: click Add custom connector instead of Browse connectors and paste the Vocci connection URL https://mcp.vocci.ai/mcp.
