Use Vocci With AI Apps
Vocci can connect to supported AI apps so they can search and open context your account is allowed to access.
Vocci MCP is read-only. Connected AI apps can search and open approved context, but they cannot create, edit, delete, or export all Vocci data.
What You Can Do
- Search Vocci from a supported AI app.
- Review a returned result when more detail would help.
- Include returned source IDs when you want clearer citations.
- Reconnect if your authorization expires.
What Vocci MCP Can Do
Vocci's MCP connection is read-only. Depending on what your AI app supports, it can:
| Capability | What it lets the AI app do | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Search Vocci context | Find relevant sessions, summaries, transcripts, notes, and files your account can access. | Start with specific questions for better results. |
| Open one result | Retrieve more detail for a single returned item. | Returned source IDs help you review and cite where context came from. |
| Build a context pack | Gather a small set of relevant Vocci context for writing, meeting prep, or quick research. | Context packs are bounded and are not full account exports. |
| Read MCP resources | Open supported notes, files, summaries, transcripts, or sessions from a returned resource. | The app needs a resource URI returned by Vocci first. |
| Use prompt templates | Use guided retrieval workflows for common tasks. | Templates guide the AI app; they do not grant extra access or write ability. |
The MCP connection cannot create, edit, delete, or export all Vocci data. It does not return signed file links, raw audio, binary files, or general app API access.
What To Expect
- Sign in through your browser.
- Use the Vocci connection URL:
https://mcp.vocci.ai/mcp. - Start with a narrow question.
- Review returned context before using it in an answer or workflow.
Supported AI Apps
Other AI apps may work if they support this kind of remote connection and browser sign-in. Start with one of the setup guides above when you want the most predictable path.
